la manufacture royale d’aubusson

Founded in 1751, the Manufacture Royale d’Aubusson was originally renowned for its soap rugs. Today, it specialises in weaving rugs, staircases and top-of-the-range made-to-measure carpets. It is the last French manufacturer to use the ‘Wilton’ technique. The Manufacture supplies some of the biggest names in luxury hotels, air, rail and sea transport, as well as prestigious institutions. These are all sectors with stringent compliance, safety and quality requirements, which are met by the products woven in the workshops of this exceptional manufacturer. In February 2023, Carpet Society has acquired a stake in the company in order to integrate it into its concept.
